Anna Marchetti preserves a place where time becomes memory: its Historical Archive.
Conceived through the vision of the founder and now curated by Jessica Giuliani, the Archive brings together sixty years of creativity, research, and the culture of Italian craftsmanship. A heritage patiently built over time with extraordinary sensitivity and carefully preserved so that it may continue to tell the story of the Maison.

Sketches, patterns, fabrics, photographs, documents, collections, accessories, and more than two thousand original garments engage in a dialogue with a Fashion Library comprising over six thousand international magazines, tracing the evolution of style from 1966 to the present day.

It is far more than a collection of objects. It is a living memory, where every creation bears witness to a vision, a gesture, and a body of knowledge passed down through generations.

The significance of this heritage received an important acknowledgment on 31 March, when TRAME – The Italian Fabric of Fashion Museums and Archives was presented at Sapienza University of Rome. The publication, dedicated to mapping Italy's fashion museums and archives, was created to celebrate and promote the country's rich cultural heritage. We are proud that the Anna Marchetti Historical Archive has been selected for inclusion in this prestigious volume, becoming part of the network that preserves and narrates the history of Italian fashion.
